Details

Build essential skills for client support in the community through three online modules and a face‑to‑face practical assessment. This combined course covers safe medication administration, continence support, and infection prevention and control.

You’ll learn:

Assist with Medication – preparing and administering medication safely, reducing errors, and managing unexpected situations.

Basic Continence Support – providing bowel and urinary support, including suppositories, micro‑enemas, catheter care, and penile sheath application.

Infection Prevention and Control – understanding micro‑organisms, the chain of infection, and how to prevent transmission through safe food handling, hygiene, and use of personal protective equipment.

You’ll access online learning with downloadable resources and video demonstrations, then complete a 40‑minute practical assessment to evidence your skills and ensure you’re workplace‑ready.
